In order to effectively solve the weakness of traditional mixed air distribution in large space buildings, presents a displacement ventilation mode based on square column attachment. Establishes a numerical simulation model including four square columns. Investigates the ventilation effectiveness and human thermal comfort at different air supply velocities and temperatures using Airpak software. Obtains the distribution characteristics of velocity field, temperature field, PMV and mean air age. Compares ventilation efficiency, air diffusion performance index (ADPI), PMV and mean air age in the respiratory region with traditional mixed air distribution. The results show that this kind of ventilation mode has a superior performance of ventilation efficiency and human thermal comfort than the traditional mixed air distribution.
